Glossary: AdWords

AdWords is an advertisement system by google. By using AdWords, companies can book advertisements on content-related websites. The payment is based on the cost-per-click method (CPC). After registering for AdWords, a 4-line ad can be created. Afterwards, matching search terms have to be defined. In the final step, it has to be specified how much money per day or per click shall be spend. After that’s done, google automatically places the ad on content-related websites.
