Glossary: Cost per Mille (CPM)

Cost per mille (also called cost per thousands, CPT), is a commonly used measurement in advertising that originates from print but was adapted by online. It refers to the costs an advertiser pays for one thousand views or clicks of an advertisement, i.e. for TV spots, online or print commercials. Via CPM, different media respectively advertising formats can be compared.
